Clean Wisconsin Action Fund Endorses Liz Jones for State Assembly

On behalf of its thousands of members, Clean Wisconsin Action Fund proudly announced its endorsement of Liz Jones for the 29th Assembly District today.

“Liz Jones is committed to cleaning up and protecting our state's beautiful, bountiful waters by reducing the smelly, sometimes toxic algae blooms that often plague the waters of the 29th Assembly District,” said Gary Goyke, board chair of the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund. “On the heels of a legislative session when much environmental legislation was dismissed, Jones’ commitment to environmental issues would be a welcome addition to the Wisconsin State Assembly."

Jones recognizes that cleaning our waters will protect the health and property values of constituents in her district.  She understands the importance of preserving the environment to help the economy in the long run, and supports sustainable land practices.

"Jones sees that a clean environment and natural resource protection go hand-in-hand with a strong economy," said Goyke. “A vote for Liz Jones is a vote to protect Wisconsin’s wonderful environment.”
